Sproutling goes to Kara

It's been a while since we've checked in with my adorable yet impossible to train as a healer sproutling, hasn't it? What has she been up to? Well, we were taking a couple of guildies through Kara (yes, you read that right, Kara) to get them some of the enchants that drop in there. Now the little sproutling has never been to Kara. I wanted to show her how we do it, old school style.

If you were wondering whether the narcolepsy has improved at all, Exhibit A at Moroes' table:

Now the little one did stay awake long enough for me to introduce her to Shade. "This is Shade, my little one, an evil evil man":

Now my addons were being all funky, plus I was distracted by showing the sproutling around. Thus, I think I moved during Flame Wreath. Oops. No one died though. :) Here I am showing the little one how to kick someone when they are down. I know, I know, I'm so mean. But seriously Shade deserves it.

As we were running around in there, I had to introduce the little one to some tough facts of tree life. Specifically the harsh reality that we could be used to make books. Apparently she is not too concerned because she started dancing.

Next, I took her to the chess event, where I think we got confused for a chess piece and someone tried to jump on us and control us.

Finally, I took her to see the big bad man upstairs, Prince. Apparently the little one was not so impressed:

While my little sproutling is dozing away in sleepy land, Jess' Strand Crawler (whose left claw is bigger.. get it? get it?) is at perfect attention, pinching his claws, ready to jump in the fight at any time. /sigh

How's the Sproutling doing?

From the feedback I got from my last post on the sproutling, apparently you guys thought I was pushing the little one too hard to become the next big healing machine. So keeping this in mind, I just let the little one follow me around to simply watch and learn.

Here's the little one with Jess and I as we discuss strategy for Iron Council:

Apparently she got a bit bored with our talky talky:

I did take the sproutling to give her a close look at some of the raid bosses. Here she is hiding behind me as we take a look at Ignis and his scary scary flames of fire. Its a good lesson for the little one to learn that us trees + fire = ouchiness:

Since she was a bit traumatized by our Ignis encounter, I figured the spoutling would feel more at home in Freya's conservatory:

Now the spoutling did get a couple of other lessons. Here she is learning all sorts of naughty swear words (me? never!) after my Oracles egg yet again failed to hatch a drake. Look at the sadness on my face. Look how the damn Oracle is turning its back on me! Bastard! Look at the smile on the spoutling's face as she repeats the swear words she's just learned:

I also showed the little one that there are a number of different types of trees out there. We were just out for a nice little stroll when we came across two interesting white trees who seemed to take a particular interest in the little sproutling:

But then before I knew it:

I'm not sure if the Eversong Keeper was trying to take down my sproutling or steal her as his own. What nerve!

Checking back in with the next K

Its been a while since I gave you guys a glimpse into how the training of my Teldrassil Sproutling into the next great healing machine was going. Have I had any more success? Lets take a look.

Because any healer first needs a tank to heal, I decided to introduce the little one to my tank. Little one, this is what we call a tank:

So what we do with these tanks is send them green swirls of healing goodness. Like this:

Ok little one, now you try:

Hmmm. Well maybe I am starting you out too fast. You're a little bebeh tree... maybe Jess is too big a tank for you to start with. Should we start you out with a tank closer to your own size? How about Vel's little bear? Its a perfect little feral bear ass for you to heal!

Seriously my sproutling? Seriously? Its time for a serious chat.

We are trees little one. We are masters of teh leet healz. That is our calling. That is our fate. Come on, all you have to do is wave your arms in the air! Wave them like you just don't care! Like this!

Sigh. You're still falling asleep on me? Hmmm training up this sproutling is going to be a serious challenge. I wonder if Strand Crawlers can heal?

Bringing up the next K

I got my adorable little mini me, the Teldrassil Sproutling about a week ago. Its a big responsibility bringing up the next generation of trees, and I take the responsibility of raising K 2.0 very seriously. There's a lot to teach this little twig! I started by giving her a lecture on all she needed to learn.

But she seemed a bit confused and all I saw on her face was a wooden stare (lawl), so I decided I needed to show her what it meant to be my mini me. First I tried to take her herbing, though not to too much success. Apparently this little one finds herbing a bit boring for her taste? Blasphemy my little one, blasphemy!

Ok ok, how about fishing little K?

I also took her around to celebrate her first holiday.

Ok so there's herbing, and fishing, and taking part in world events. But I also needed to introduce her to the world of raiding, thus off to Ulduar we go! I was hoping that my sister tree Indi could help me focus the little one beyond falling asleep and dancing.

But instead of following our lead in throwing out our hallelujah praise the lord branchy HoTs, she got distracted by Vel's beauty.

Sigh... this little twig has a long way to go, but we'll get there. Its quite exhausting though being a student and a teacher!
